“ Liam has created a series of lessons tailored to the needs and budget of my wife and myself that have taken us from beginners to enthusiastic and passionate golfers within a few months. I recently found myself repeatedly pushing all my drives to the right and I couldn’t cure it with all the advice from playing partners and YouTube. Liam cured it in one 20 minute session and now I am back hitting long drives down the middle of the fairway. Liam is a very skilled PGA professional with superb analytical and teaching skills which have improved my scores bring me from a handicap of 28 to 14 in one year. Above all though, he cares about you and your game and has a genuine desire to help”

“Liam is a highly recommended golf instructor. His knowledge, enthusiasm and coaching style is excellent. He teaches to the individual, is creative and keeps it simple. He will not overload you with instructions but will focus on a few simple drills to improve your game. He takes personal pride in making you a better golfer.
It was a pleasure to work with Liam in my role as captain of Royal Winchester golf club. He was so generous with his time, commitment and organisation that he became a valuable member of my team. He’s a great guy to..”

Starting as a complete beginner and having no idea what I was doing with golf, I got recommended Liam to have some lesson with. Liam has always been so welcoming, friendly and put me at ease. One of the best things about Liam’s coaching is how he gets you to understand what and why things happen in a simplified way. This has allowed me to understand the game in better detail. Liam always gives me a few focus points to work on at home & the driving range making every session on my own just as beneficial. My games has massively improved and that’s all down to Liam. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to improve their game.”

Prior to working with Liam I had played golf for around 2 years, with a handicap in the mid 30s. I had some lessons elsewhere without much success. After 5 or 6 lessons with Liam, my handicap reduced to 22 within 6 months. The biggest improvement Liam has made has been with my short game. No more blading wedges across greens or missing 3 footers!
Liam is incredibly easy to get on with and the lessons are always enjoyable. His coaching style focuses on small, simple changes that can then be easily implemented and have the biggest impact on your game. Liam also ensures you understand the changes you are making and I feel this is essential. Not only am I improving my technique, but having the knowledge enables me to correct faults when they creep back into my game, and to work out problems for myself when new issues arise.
I cannot recommend Liam highly enough to anyone seriously interested in improving their golf.

I have known Liam for a long time, as a friend and as a professional. When I first lent on Liam, in the professional sense, it was to order my new set of clubs. The process was ridiculously quick, and easy. As well as being professional and thorough. It started with me hitting a few different clubs in the *forgot name*. Liam would talk me through how each club is made, how each club should feel and the pros/cons for each club for my ability. We then moved on to shafts, going through the same process. His knowledge of clubs and shafts is endless and made me feel confident in the choice I eventually made.
The updates throughout the order were regular, so I always felt in the loop. Liam then invited me in to hit my brand new clubs once they arrived, which rounded off a superb service all in. Another thing to note here, unlike other places you may find yourself going, Liam is not pushy. He is not trying to get you to buy the most expensive, he wants your game to be the best it can and so he provides the knowledge for you to make the most informed decision possible.
Liam gets to know his clients very well, which is lovely touch. I regularly receive messages of new stock in the shop, or reminders about sales and I often even place orders without even going to the shop. The service Liam provides, not only on the course but off it too is second to none.
Lockdown saw a massive rise in recreational golf, and with a few friends then wanting lessons I wouldn’t recommend anyone more. I have been having lessons with Liam on and off for a good few years. And I often go to him because a new problem has creeped into my game. Golf, as many of you probably know, can be the most infuriating game in the world. Liam always takes the positives, gives a solution to a problem and works tirelessly to correct a mistake or improve something technical. He makes you feel comfortable stood over the ball, which undoubtedly helps to improve your game.
Past coaches have given me way too complex explanations with far too many things to think about in my pre shot routine. The lessons felt like a chore and I wasn’t invested. With Liam, he words things in such a way you don’t need to think - you just need to do. And that is what I enjoy most about his lessons. They are fun, creative, informing, and incredibly rewarding as results are usually fast. You can take what he has taught you in a 45 minute session, to the range or the course and feel confident in continuing to try replicate the lesson pointers.
Liam always remains calm, you hit a bad shot in the lesson and it’s a learning curve. The quote ‘learn don’t lose’ is apt here. No shot is a ‘bad’ shot with Liam, every shot has a purpose and teaches us something new. You never leave a lesson with Liam feeling frustrated, you leave with bounce in your step because something has changed and for the better. Even if you haven’t quite grasped it, or cannot physically do what has been taught, you leave with the knowledge, explanation and reasoning for what the change is. Making you look forward to the next lesson even more.
If you are hungry, Liam is hungrier and that is very important. To learn, improve and adapt to changes you have to have desire but I can reassure you Liam’s desire for you to improve is stronger.
